The Law School uses a single sign-on approach to technology resources, allowing you to use the same login/password combination for the resources listed below.
Password Management (IDM).
To set up or change your password:
- Go to http://idm.lls.edu/
- Log in
- Click on Change Password
- Enter your New password (twice)
- Click Save
If you forgot your password:
- Go to http://idm.lls.edu
- Click on Forgot Password
- Answer your secret questions
- Use New Temporary Password provided
Law School auditing rules require everyone to change their password every 6 months. If you receive a message indicating that your Law School password needs to be changed, click the link above to do so.
The law school provides you with an email account that all official law school correspondense is used for. Access your email after you have created your password following the guidelines below.
Go to http://email.lls.edu
Enter the Login Name and Password you used when setting up IDM above.
To Set up email forwarding:
- Click on the Gear icon in top right corner
- Click Mail Settings
- Click on the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab
- Click Add a Forwarding Address
- Enter the address you want your mail forwarded to
- Click Next
- A verification code will be sent to the forwarded account.
Log into your forwarded email account and retrieve the verification email. Click the link referenced in the email, which authorizes Google to forward your email.
Log back into Google and navigate to the Mail Settings from Step 2 above, and Forward all incoming mail to your Forwarded account.

All classes at the Law School are audio recorded. Please tell us what your policy regarding these recordings will be by visiting Class Recording Policy Choices.
Wireless Network Access
Use the Login Name & Password you set up for IDM for access. I.E., the login Name for "Jane Doe" is doej.
The wireless network you will connect to is: LLSSECURE, and to join this network, you'll be asked for a password: albany919
Listserv Email Discussions
All adjunct Loyola Law School email addresses are automatically added to this list, so you will be able to participate in discussions. To send a message, use this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you do not wish to participate, you can select "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any of those emails.
