One-Year Minimum Commitment
Check here to acknowledge that, by accepting an offer of employment from a RAP Employer, you are making a one-year commitment to that employer.
Accepting employment through RAP is a commitment to work for at least one year. Do not apply to RAP as a fallback while waiting for another job. For example, if you plan to apply for the Public Defender's or District Attorney's office prior to the end of the Resident Associate year, do not apply to RAP. In addition to other program benefits, employers participate and hire Resident Associates on the basis of the RAP one-year commitment (other details and terms of employment will be finalized between the Resident Associate and their firm). Your failure to keep your commitment impacts the success of the program. If you have any questions about this year-long commitment, ask your counselor.
Non Employer/Employee Relationship
Check here to acknowledge your understanding that Loyola Law School is not and will not be your employer, and that you are not entering into an employer/employee relationship with Loyola Law School.
Subject to RAP Employer requirements, RAP Participants may apply to all, any, or none of the employers participating in the program. RAP Participants do not apply to RAP Employers directly; all applications should be submitted via 12twenty. The Career Development Office will collect RAP Participants' applications on behalf of employers, but the employers will make all interviewing and hiring decisions. Loyola Law School does not contribute to the salary and is not in an employer-employee relationship with the participating graduate or Resident Associate.
Acknowledgement of Policies and Procedures
Check here to acknowledge that you understand and will abide by these policies and procedures.
All statements in this registration form and other application materials submitted to the Career Development Office and participating RAP Employers should be true to the best of your knowledge, and reflect realistic projections based on information reasonably available. Any material misstatements or omissions may be cause for disqualification from RAP, or result in termination of participation in RAP.
