Mission Statement
The mission of the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Start-Ups Club (“IECS”) is to provide a platform for like-minded law students to harness their passion for the law and entrepreneurship, ultimately creating a hub of innovation. IECS includes but is not limited to the fields of law in technology, hospitality, start-ups, fashion, and all other “non-traditional” legal spaces. IECS will focus on bridging the gap between an archaic model of doing business and the modern day digital age. Students will have the opportunity to learn from and interact with lawyers who have leveraged their legal backgrounds to pursue alternative means of business besides the traditional legal space. IECS will also provide a mentorship program for students with “movers and shakers” in the Loyola Network and greater Southern California.
