About: Faculty Support Services (FSS) is a collaborative team of faculty assistants. Our team works closely with assigned Law School faculty members to provide the administrative and operational support they need in order to successfully teach, conduct research, and advance scholarship. Services Provided: The Office of Faculty Support offers a wide range of services to full-time faculty members and limited services to part-time faculty. Services may include course management, such as maintaining Brightspace course pages, preparing class materials, arranging guest speakers, and coordinating small scale student events associated with your class; Workday finance support, including preparing expense reports per University guidelines; and administrative support, including connecting you to various campus services.
Requesting Support: Please refer to the Faculty Support Staff link at the left to find faculty assistant contact information and the faculty and programs they support. Faculty should contact their assigned faculty assistant, who will work with the team, director, and other departments as needed to handle requests efficiently. Providing ample notice, especially during busy periods like the start and end of semesters, ensures the best service. For a productive partnership, faculty should: give clear instructions and expectations for tasks/projects, provide ample request notice when possible, share feedback, and promptly communicate changes or updates to needs.
