Theme: Back to Basics: Adapting to the Academically Underprepared Student

Presentations might address the following:

  • exercises, teaching strategies, and curriculum adaptations for reaching these students;
  • opportunities for Legal Writing to lead the way in addressing student needs;
  • opportunities for collaboration between Legal Writing and both ASP and doctrinal professors;
  • using assessments to guide change;
  • using technology to enhance fundamental writing skills;
  • the role of Legal Writing in bar and practice preparation
