Theme: Back to Basics: Adapting to the Academically Underprepared Student
Presentations might address the following:
- exercises, teaching strategies, and curriculum adaptations for reaching these students;
- opportunities for Legal Writing to lead the way in addressing student needs;
- opportunities for collaboration between Legal Writing and both ASP and doctrinal professors;
- using assessments to guide change;
- using technology to enhance fundamental writing skills;
- the role of Legal Writing in bar and practice preparation
